Programming

Our programming teams lead our stations to new highs and successes generating creative and compelling solutions for both programming and commercial led content, striving to do ideas, relationships and results better than anyone else in the industry.

Marketing

Our marketing teams are always seeking new and better ways to grow our audiences on radio and digital platforms. They take our brands and client promotions out to the streets of their home town to have fun with all our listeners.

Sales

Our biggest population of employees, our sales teams are the connection between our customers, our brands and our listeners in order achieve the best results for everyone. They sell amazing ideas to new and existing clients ensuring we stand head and shoulders above the competition and transform our clients businesses.

Digital

The digital department create brilliant and innovative digital content to excite our audiences, smartly planning to engage features and reacting swiftly to new opportunities and last-minute celebrity appearances, they have their fingers on the pulse of our listeners’ lives. They grow our digital audiences and build a community of engaged fans and brand champions.

Creative

Our creative teams develop outstanding creative concepts for our customers. They bring our clients’ brands and products to life through audio and visual creative and engage our audiences to drive results for customers.

Group: HR, Communications, Finance and Technology

Our group teams are the back bone of our business by servicing and supporting success for every person, every team and every location.

The People Team

Our People team are no ordinary HR team. Their purpose is to ensure that every person who works with us now and in the future has the best possible experience and a little bit of career gold with CCUK.

The Finance Team

In the spirit of integrity and passion, the Finance Team are committed to excellence in financial information and reporting to support every part of our business, people and customers. We pay the bills, reward and reimburse our people and work with our customers to receive payment to us. Our mission is to do all this with the highest accuracy and efficiency to support all our teams to deliver the very best results on air, on their personal and customer targets and on our company P&L.

Learning & Development

CCUK Academy

We have developed our very own academies on leadership, sales, programming and marketing, creative and digital. The academy programmes are transformational in the way they engage and develop our people. All our content is bespoke to our company and our goal for our people is to be the smartest, boldest and most creative in everything they aspire to do.

Each programme has a clear structure for learning and development and is delivered to people in a variety of engaging ways.

Learning Hub

Our brand new Learning Hub creates an online space for people to take control of their own learning path with us and they have access to a variety of powerful content, resources and flexible tools that will enable them to learn and grow

Personal Best

We don’t believe in boring performance reviews. We believe in celebrating successes, learning from our misses and always pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. We help our people create powerful business, personal and career goals that mean they get to deliver their PERSONAL BEST work every single year. We call this a Personal Best Plan and everyone from the Chief Executive down has one to create clear direction and purpose throughout the year.

Career Development

We know career development is important to our people and we love to grow our own talent. Our Academies offer the learning opportunities to grow their knowledge and expertise and our Assessment Centres offer them a chance to showcase this through a variety of challenging initiatives. We have a great success rate of people who have moved into senior roles as a result. We hold assessment centres twice per year for our rising stars.

Communicorp UK is investing in radio’s future talent through the Next Generation programme.

Next Generation Leaders

We are proud to partner with Nottingham Trent University in their Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship to offer our future leaders a unique chance to gain a prestigious qualification and fulfill their aspirations to become a leader later in their careers. Each of our NG Leaders has their own Mentor from our Executive Team to guide and support them over the four year programme.

Next Generation Students

To further support the industry’s rising talent, we are working alongside the Student Radio Association to offer all SRA members the chance to gain hands on experience at any of our stations to help them develop their radio skills. We love their energy, ideas and enthusiasm and our teams welcome them inside our stations regularly.
